Dr. Anika Islam, a graduate of Chittagong Medical College, started career as Resident Medical Officer, BIRDEM in 2002 en-route to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital. Dr. Manwar pursued PG Dip Cardiology in 2004 under University of London with Distinction & Sir John Goodwin Prize for academic excellence by Imperial College London. Academic up-gradation in 2006 created an opportunity to serve Apollo Hospital Dhaka as Registrar, Cardiology. To aspire proficiency at masters’ level he completed MSc Cardiology with Distinction once again by Canterbury Christ Church & University College London (UCL) in 2008. To achieve superspeciality, he opted Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology being registered with Medical Council of India in 2009.

Dr. Anika Islam joined SQUARE Hospital as Specialist Cardiologist, contributing his expertise since then before taking up position of Associate Consultant in 2015 & Coordinator Non-Invasive Lab in 2017.
